[Bone scintigraphy in Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease]. 1984

Scintigraphy was made to 25 children with Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease. A unilateral change was noted in all the cases. 99m Tc-phosphone (BHP) administered i.v., activity 222 MBk, was used. In the authors opinion, scintigraphy provides an opportunity to establish the onset of a reparative process on an average 2-4 mos earlier than radiography and facilitates dynamic observation in the postoperative period.
