A paradigm for the classification of emotional crises: implications for crisis intervention. 1978

Bruce A Baldwin
University of North.

A model for the classification of six general types of crises frequently encountered in crisis clinics is presented. Defining characteristics, intervention strategy, and a case example are considered for each type of crisis. The model is proposed for teaching crisis therapy and enhancing the effectiveness of crisis intervention in clinical contexts.
