Results of rabies post-exposure treatment with antirabies serum and the human diploid cell vaccine in Iran. 1978

M Bahmanyar

Confirmation of safety and antigenicity of HDCV vaccine in volunteers and in post-exposure treatment of severely injured patients. In some cases the use of antirabies serum inhibited, temporarily, the development of the active response to vaccine. During the last year about 2000 treatments were carried out : no failure nor undesirable reactions were observed.
