Bilateral congenital facial paralysis. 1980

R A Fogg

A 17-year-old girl who has the Möbius syndrome showed compensatory motions in sucking, speech, and eating. Movements of facial expression were absent (except for contraction of the buccinator muscle and some closure of the eyelids). The patient has been referred to a specialist for restoration of additional facial expression.
