New arterial clamp for perfusion preservation of cadaver kidneys. 1980

S I Cho, and J W Bradley

A new arterial clamp has been developed for the perfusion of kidneys with single or multiple renal arteries which significantly reduces the risk of intimal damage. The use of this clamp completely eliminates the necessity for renal artery cannulation and also minimizes several disadvantages currently encountered with en block perfusion and preservation.
