Bone transplantations. 1982

C van der Werken, and R K Marti

From personal observations on 652 autogenous bone transplantations, the excellent properties of autogenous cancellous bone as graft material are discussed. Under conditions of mechanical stability it can be successfully used even in infected and poorly vascularized areas. The wide range of indications is discussed, and some clinical examples are presented.
