[Device for studying muscle tonus]. 1978

Iu I Kozlovskiĭ

A portable device for studying the muscular tone can be constructed on the principle of registering displacements of a metal rod accomplished by means of the bridge network. The indicating instrument is calibrated with reference to the steel rod, whose density (tightness) is taken as an ultimate one, while the tightness of the muscle tissue is determined in per cent of the ultimate tightness.
