[Ultraviolet phototherapy as a preventive treatment of polymorphous light dermatitis]. 1982

16 patients with polymorphous light eruption were treated with ultraviolet phototherapy as prophylaxis. In 13 patients, no skin disease occurred during a following vacation in spite of intense sun exposition. Two patients developed minimal skin eruptions. One patient showed the same skin manifestations, there was no therapeutical effect.
