[Adaptation of the rat myocardium to long-time application of small doses of isoproterenol (author's transl)]. 1978

After long-time application of small doses of isoproterenol an adaptation occurs which is expressed by increased tolerance against toxic amounts of this substance. This study shows the duration of tolerance increasing effect after isoproterenol application.
