[A quick method for estimating blood haemoglobin concentrations (author's transl)]. 1981

J Sarubin

Blood haemoglobin concentrations were estimated in 30 patients in a surgical intensive care unit. The methods used were the standard laboratory technique (photometer Medico) and a bed-side method (Compur M 1000). Comparison of the data showed very good correlation (correlation coefficient: 0.993). This rapid method is very convenient for haemoglobin estimations in surgical emergencies in the intensive care unit.
