The adult respiratory distress syndrome associated with miliary tuberculosis. 1981

Two patients with miliary tuberculosis developed the adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The importance of recognising the association is stressed, since miliary tuberculosis is treatable. The diagnostic problems are discussed, with special reference to the success of transbronchial lung biopsy.
