Treatment of fractures of the femoral shaft with early cast bracing. 1981

This study describes experience in the treatment of fractures of he femoral shaft by early weight bearing in a cast brace, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. During 1977-79, 117 fractures of the femoral shaft were treated. The average time for fracture had overall satisfactory results.
