[Diagnostic and surgical problems of the laryngocele (author's transl)]. 1978

R Turchi, and G Jemmi, and O Bazzana

The Authors take into consideration some of the laryngocele cases which came to their observation and do some considerations about diagnosis and surgery of this non-frequent disease of the larynx. They explain the various surgical techniques for the exeresis of the three types of the laryngocele: external, internal and mixed. They describe a new technique for the removal of the internal laryngocele through direct mycrolaryngoscope endoscopy by electric dissection. Such method, when correctly practicable, offers some important advantages in respect of external surgery techniques.
