[Aneurysm of the ductus arteriosus in a newborn infant (author's transl)]. 1980

V Mendel, and I Luhmer, and H Oelert

A large congenital aneurysm of the ductus arteriosus confirmed by cardiac catheterisation was operated in a nine day old infant. Prompt surgical intervention accounted for the patient's survival. Differential diagnosis of an intrathoracic mass should include a congenital ductus arteriosus aneurysm.
