[Treatment of open fractures of tubular bones]. 1980

E I Shairo, and B L Sultangereev, and M Zh Murzalin

The results of treatment of 158 patients with open fractures of bones were analyzed. They depended on different factors: time of admission of the patient, the degree of the injury (according to Kaplan--Markova), choice of the radical surgical treatment of the wound, rational application of antibiotics, intraosseous perfusion, enzymotherapy etc. Treatment of the wound after Syzganov--Tkachenko has been shown to be very effective.
