The effect of a single dose of ethanol (200 ml of 20% and 40% solution) on pharmacokinetics of a single dose of paracetamol was tested in healthy men. An open, two-compartment pharmacokinetical model was assumed. Significant changes were observed after 40% ethanol, an increase of AUC, beta, k12, k21, V2 and t1/2 alpha, decrease of Cmax and prolongation of tmax.
