[The effect of electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter-wave range on the immune status of peptic ulcer patients]. 1994

Effects of MMW electromagnetic radiation on the immunity status were studied in 92 patients with ulcer of duodenum before and after the course of treatment which consisted of 8-10 sessions of exposure, using acupuncture points for the purpose, for 20-25 minutes daily, the immunocorrective action of the method employed having been made evident. Both quantitative and qualitative indices for the immunity system return to normal, with the ratio of lymphocyte regulatory subpopulation being restored, functional activity previously suppressed, of immunocompetent cells being enhanced, the level of autoimmune processes lowered.
