[The use of cryomassage in the rehabilitation of IHD patients]. 1995

O F Kuznetsov, and E M Stiazhskina, and V Iu Stiazhkin

The authors have developed a technique of abdominal cryomassage and tried it in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). The massage improved the disease course, diastolic function, being most effective in hypertrophic left ventricular myocardial affection; produced lipotropic action important for early secondary prevention. Thus, abdominal cryomassage as a nonpharmaceutical method can serve an efficient adjuvant modality in combined treatment and rehabilitation of CHD patients.
