[Use of "catgut ligatures" in treatment of trophic ulcers of the lower limbs]. 1975

Ligatures with fine-cut catgut were employed by the author for treatment of ulcers in 73 patients. Ulcer healing was obtained in 72 patients, while in one case the ulcer was reduced in size. No ulcer recurrence within the terms from 2 months to 6 years was noted.
