The purpose of this investigation was to determine the ability of Dh-581 (Procubol) (See Figure 1) to reduce the level of serum cholesterol for extended periods of time and to maintain the reduction without loss of effectiveness. The effects of DH-581 on triglycerides and the safety and tolerance of daily doses were also assessed.
