[The recurrence of peptic ulcer after selective proximal vagotomy]. 1994

B S Polinkevych

The treatment results of 245 patients with ulcer disease recurrence, 162 of whom the repeated operations were conducted, were analyzed. Most frequent recurrence cause is an incomplete vagotomy and other procedure faults. During the repeated operation performance the gastric resection is obligatory only owing to the impossibility of revagotomy conduction, or if the previously conducted vagotomy was undoubtedly complete.
