Effectiveness of the use of Omeprazolum (Oside) was studied in 24 patients with ulcer disease, 16 patients with chronic primary gastroduodenitis and 18 patients with acid reflux-esophagitis. The preparation Oside is a highly effective agent for the treatment of the aforementioned conditions and possesses a powerful antisecretory and antioxidant activity. Against the background of the use of the preparation the count of Helicobacter pylori gets decreased in the antral part of the stomach. The use of the preparation is not accompanied by side-effects and it does not have reverse acidic effect, in which respect has been shown to be superior to H2-histamine blockers.
