[Bacterial flora of recurrent acute inflammation of upper respiratory tract infections in children]. 1994

A group of children aged 3-13 years with recurrent inflammation of upper respiratory tract was investigated. In every child testing was performed five times (at the beginning of the disease, after successful treatment, after next illness episode, after treatment and at third consecutive attack of the disease). Among typical pathogenic flora strains of S. aureus, H. influenzae and S. pyogenes were isolated. Carriage was present only in case of S. aureus.
