Erythrocytic committed hematopoietic stem cells in the peripheral blood of mice. 1975

Hematopoietic stem cells (CFU) found in the peripheral blood of mice might be, functionally, a heterogenous cellular population. A comparison of our data with that of others leads to the conclusion that peripheral blood CFU belong to two or more marrow CFU subpopulations, one of which consists of erythrocytic committed CFU.
