[Scleroplasty results in congenital myopia]. 1993

A A Iusupov

The author analyzes late results of scleroplasty carried out in progressive congenital myopia and the relationship of these results with the initial status of the anatomo-optic elements of the eye in patients aged 7 to 22. Surgical treatment according to E. S. Avetisov and E. P. Tarutta was carried out in all the patients. The efficacy of surgery was found to directly depend on the status of the anatomo-optic elements of the eye and the patient's age.
