Alternate method of reducing metatarsus primus adductus angle. 1977

R J Evins

Dr. Evins suggests a relatively simple technique to reduce the metatarsus primus adductus angle associated with hallux abducto valgus. It is used in conjunction with other bunionectomies--often with the modified McBride bunionectomy or the Reverdin osteotomy--with satisfactory results and often makes the Logroscino double osteotomy unnecessary.
