Mycobacterium avium infection in freeliving hedgehogs (Erinaceus europaeus L). 1977

Mesenteric lymph nodes were examined from five hedgehogs captured on the Berkshire Downs. The single culture obtained was identified as Mycobacterium avium type 2.
