Postpartum ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm: a case report. 1977

The successful management of a postpartum ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm is described. The rarity of the condition in the Black South African parturient is emphasized. Recent advances in surgery have improved the prognosis of this condition and early recognition and surgery are essential components of a successful result.
