[Gastroscopy in the diagnosis of congenital pylorostenosis]. 1996

V V Martynenko, and G V Kornienko, and O V Spakhi

The gastroscopic examination has been done in 72 children for diagnosis of congenital pylorostenosis in 1993-1995. The authors think that this method is more reliable and sparing to compare with any others for diagnosis of congenital pylorostenosis. The absence of pylorus motility as a reaction for the external stimulation is a main criterium for endoscopic diagnosis of congenital pylorostenosis.
