[Health and life style of families among various social groups of the population with young children]. 1996

O V Grinina, and L V Solokhina

Presents the results of a sociohygienic study of the health status, life style and conditions of 900 families belonging to different social groups (workers, employees, and mixed) with young children. The principal risk factors for children's health are chronic diseases and adverse occupational factors of their parents, poor microclimate in the family, and poor education of their mothers. Medicosocial requirements of workers' families are a priority problem.
