[Experimental neuroses during integration of unilateral conditioned reflex systems]. 1976

T E Kolosova, and M M Khananashvili

Relationships of symmetrical systems of reflexes organized by rhythmic and random presentation of unilateral stimuli were traced in dogs on the Abuladze model of unilateral conditioned reflexes. Rhythmic (counter-phasic) oscillations of the excitability level on two sides have appeared in the process of integration of different systems. Their integration at short intervals (4 min) leads to an experimental neurosis. If, however, the intervals between the systems amount to 24 hours, no disturbances are observed in higher nervous activity. The data obtained are considered in the light of the concept of experimental informational neuroses.

D009497 Neurotic Disorders Disorders in which the symptoms are distressing to the individual and recognized by him or her as being unacceptable. Social relationships may be greatly affected but usually remain within acceptable limits. The disturbance is relatively enduring or recurrent without treatment. D004285 Dogs The domestic dog, Canis familiaris, comprising about 400 breeds, of the carnivore family CANIDAE. They are worldwide in distribution and live in association with people. (Walker's Mammals of the World, 5th ed, p1065) Canis familiaris,Dog

D000818 Animals Unicellular or multicellular, heterotrophic organisms, that have sensation and the power of voluntary movement. Under the older five kingdom paradigm, Animalia was one of the kingdoms. Under the modern three domain model, Animalia represents one of the many groups in the domain EUKARYOTA.
