There have been examined 28 married couples from 25 to 35 years old with fertility and 55 patients from 25 to 40 years old with symptoms of genital infection and promiscuity. Chlamydia-antigens in urethral and endocervical specimens and antibodies in blood were searched by the Microimmunofluorescence method. Only 7.1% of the married couples and 1.8% of the patients had positive results for antigens. 53.6% of the married couples and 54.25 of the patients had positive results for antibodies, at rates from 1:32 to 1:512, confirming a profound Chlamydia trachomatis-genital infection. Outline laboratory analysis are needed for solving the diagnostic and therapeutic problems of Chlamydia trachomatis-genital infections.
