The management of intracranial calcified subdural hematomas. 1976

C Watts

Calcified subdural hematomas are associated with signs and symptoms similar to those of chronic, uncalcified subdural hematomas. Those found incidentally or in patients with long-standing nonprogressive neurological deficits should be left alone. If a calcified subdural hematoma is discovered in the evaluation of a patient with an acute or a progressing neurological disorder, an operation should be considered.
