Iron poisoning: report of a fatal case in an adult. 1976

A fatal case of iron poisoning in a suicide attempt is reported, and the toxicity and pathophysiology of iron are discussed. The four phases of the clinical features of iron poisoning are presented, and the general treatment of iron toxicity is discussed.
