[Effect of X-ray irradiation of the orbit after enucleation in patients with uveal melanoma]. 1991

Retrospective investigations comprising 154 patients with an uveal melanoma treated in the period of 1945-1984 were performed. Evaluation of the methods applied showed a beneficial effect of combining enucleation with a postoperative irradiation of the orbit.
