NMR studies of drug metabolism and disposition. 1990

NMR Unit, Hammersmith Hospital, London, U.K.

The ways in which NMR is being used in vivo to study drug metabolism and disposition are reviewed. We also assess the role of this technique as a non-invasive method for monitoring the fate of drugs in human and animals, and for providing information about pharmacology and toxicity.

UI MeSH Term Description Entries
D009682 Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Spectroscopic method of measuring the magnetic moment of elementary particles such as atomic nuclei, protons or electrons. It is employed in clinical applications such as NMR Tomography (MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING).
