[Lymphocele following kidney transplantation]. 1989

F Mosimann, and R Alaïli, and J P Wauters

Four cases of retroperitoneal lymphoceles developed among 132 consecutive renal allografts recipients. These patients complained mainly of abdominal swelling. Ultrasound is now the best mean of confirming the diagnosis. It appears that optimal treatment consists of surgical marsupialization of the lymphocele into the peritoneal cavity.
