[Effect of autophosphorylation on binding of cyclic adenosine monophosphate by cAMP-dependent protein kinases from the rat brain after x-irradiation]. 1987

L I Ostapchenko, and A N Vasil'ev, and N E Kucherenko

The results of the studies on the influence of autophosphorylation on cAMP binding by cAMP-dependent protein kinases isolated from cytosol and solubilized synaptic membranes have demonstrated that this chain in the regulation of the enzyme forms under study exhibits early radiosensitivity, the radiation damage to soluble and membrane enzymes being differently pronounced.

D001921 Brain The part of CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM that is contained within the skull (CRANIUM). Arising from the NEURAL TUBE, the embryonic brain is comprised of three major parts including PROSENCEPHALON (the forebrain); MESENCEPHALON (the midbrain); and RHOMBENCEPHALON (the hindbrain). The developed brain consists of CEREBRUM; CEREBELLUM; and other structures in the BRAIN STEM. Encephalon
