In 66 cases of carcinoma of the breast the estradiol receptors was determined and in 16 cases the progesterone receptor additionally, too. This was done in order th decide about endocrine therapy. The results of estrogen and progesterone receptors estimations were compared and correlated both the type of carcinoma and the degree of its histologic differentiation.
