Effect of sulfolipid I on trehalose-6,6'-dimycolate (cord factor) toxicity and antitumor activity. 1979

E Yarkoni, and M B Goren, and H J Rapp

Emulsified mixtures of sulfolipid I and trehalose-6,6'-dimycolate (cord factor) had tumor-regressive activity comparable to, but less toxic than, emulsified trehalose-6,6'-dimycolate alone.

D037521 Virulence Factors Those components of an organism that determine its capacity to cause disease but are not required for its viability per se. Two classes have been characterized: TOXINS, BIOLOGICAL and surface adhesion molecules that effect the ability of the microorganism to invade and colonize a host.
