A statistical error in Wood & Cook's (1979) 'Attentional deficit in the siblings of schizophrenics. 1980

K Millar, and C Walder

Re-analysis is made of the data from a recent study purporting to show an attentional deficit in the siblings of schizophrenics when compared with a matched control group. The re-analysis fails to support the previously reported levels of statistical reliability and may question the inferences to be drawn from the study.
